A beautiful and highly unusual Blancpain Villeret reference 0071-1418-55, dating to 2001 and housed in an elegant 18k yellow gold 34mm case. The watch was originally sold new by Kirchhofer in Interlaken in 2001 and comes complete with its original box and papers. The case appears to be unpolished and is preserved in excellent overall condition, retaining its crisp original proportions and finishes. The watch is fitted with a brand-new Blancpain alligator leather strap and its original Blancpain yellow gold ardillon buckle. The model is particularly distinctive for its off-centred small seconds, a design feature echoed by the offset aperture in the transparent caseback, creating an unusual and highly recognizable aesthetic. The watch has been fully serviced by Bucherer in 2026 and is accompanied by a two-year Bucherer warranty, providing excellent peace of mind.
