A rare and elegant Parmigiani Toric Chronograph, crafted in 18k white gold and measuring 40 mm in diameter with a thickness of 12.4 mm. This example features a striking black and silver dial enhanced by a vivid red tachymeter scale, subsidiary chronograph registers, and a date display positioned between 1 and 2 o’clock. The combination delivers both sporty dynamism and refined elegance. Powered by the automatic Parmigiani caliber 190, the watch offers a column-wheel chronograph with precise operation and fine decoration, visible only to those who appreciate the maison’s discreet craftsmanship. It is fitted with a black alligator strap and secured by the original 18k white gold buckle. The watch has just been serviced by Parmigiani Fleurier in 2025 and comes with service card and service box (no original presentation box). It is accompanied by its original papers dated July 2004. Preserved in excellent overall condition. The Toric line holds particular significance in the history of Parmigiani Fleurier, being the very first collection launched by Michel Parmigiani in 1996 following the creation of his manufacture. Inspired by ancient Greek columns and architectural motifs, the Toric introduced the maison’s distinctive aesthetic with its knurled bezel and harmonious proportions. Within this collection, chronographs in white gold are especially uncommon, and those with the red tachymeter scale are even rarer. A superbly preserved example of Parmigiani’s early design codes, this Toric Chronograph combines precious metal, rarity, and fresh manufacture service — making it a highly collectible timepiece for connoisseurs of independent haute horlogerie.
