This Audemars Piguet Tank Style watch dates to circa 1963 and is a beautiful example of the refined dress watches produced by the manufacture during the golden era of Swiss watchmaking. Crafted in 18 ct white gold, it features an elegant rectangular case with its original integrated white gold bracelet, both decorated with a distinctive bark-textured finish, a hallmark of Audemars Piguet's jewellery watches from the period. The watch appears to have never been polished, preserving the sharp definition of the original bark finish throughout the case and bracelet. The original white dial remains in good overall condition, displaying a few light marks consistent with its age, while the original matching hands are exceptionally well preserved. Powered by its original Audemars Piguet manufacture manual-winding movement, the watch has no known service history but is running perfectly and keeping excellent time.
