The present Rolex Submariner No-Date reference 14060, offered with its original box and papers, is a particularly attractive example from 1999 featuring the highly desirable “Swiss only” luminova dial. This transitional configuration, produced for a brief period at the end of the 1990s, is prized for combining the purity of the two-line Submariner aesthetic with modern luminous material. The stainless-steel case remains excellent and sharp overall. It has been polished in the past and shows only light signs of wear consistent with careful use, while retaining strong proportions and well-defined edges. The black “Swiss only” dial is flawless, fitted with luminova hour markers that match perfectly with the hands. The bezel and its insert are preserved in perfect condition, further enhancing the crisp presentation of the watch. The watch is fitted with its original 93150 Oyster bracelet with 501B endlinks, which shows extremely light stretch from use—remarkable for this reference. The clasp bears the code X7. Mechanically, the watch has benefited from conscientious maintenance, having undergone a Rolex service in Japan in 2013, accompanied by the original service card and invoice, as well as a further service in 2023 by an independent Japanese watchmaker. Delivered as a comprehensive set, the watch is accompanied by its box, outer box, leather warranty holder, original warranty papers confirming sale in 1999 in Kowloon, Hong Kong, as well as the aforementioned service documentation. Altogether, this is a superb and well-documented example of the reference 14060, combining excellent condition, desirable dial configuration, and outstanding completeness.
