Presented here is an iconic and highly sought-after modern classic: the Rolex Submariner Date reference 16610LV, widely known as the “Anniversary” or “Kermit.” Produced to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Submariner, this reference marked a defining moment in Rolex history with the introduction of the green bezel insert, now a hallmark of collectible Rolex sports watches. This example dates to 2007 and was originally sold new in Switzerland, adding to its desirability and provenance. The case remains sharp, having been polished in the past, and today shows only very light signs of wear consistent with careful use. The green graduated bezel insert is in excellent condition, as are the dial and hands, all retaining their strong visual presence and originality. The watch is fitted with the correct reference 93250 Oyster bracelet with solid end links, presented in superb condition with very minimal stretch, and secured by a clasp bearing the EO5 code. The movement has been inspected and checked by our watchmaker, ensuring reliable performance. Accompanied by its box and papers as shown, this set is missing the warranty holder and booklets.
