An early and highly collectible example of the Patek Philippe Nautilus 5712/1A, featuring the desirable MK1 dial with the single dot under the “48” of the power reserve indicator — a detail found only on the earliest production pieces. The watch has been recently polished and is presented in very good overall condition, with a strong case, excellent dial (showing only two discreet marks near the 9 o’clock index), and a bracelet with minimal stretch. Powered by the automatic Patek Philippe caliber 240 PS IRM C LU, displaying power reserve, date, and moonphase. Sold new in 2006 and accompanied by its complete full set, including original invoice, certificate, box, and booklets. A superb and rare early Nautilus 5712 MK1 — elegant, historically significant, and beautifully preserved.
