A highly desirable Patek Philippe Nautilus reference 3800 in 18k yellow gold, dating to 1987 and offered with its original box and papers. Originally sold in Vienna in December 1987, this early example is preserved in excellent overall condition. The yellow gold case has been polished in the past and shows only light signs of careful wear, while retaining attractive proportions and well-defined lines. The original blue tritium Sigma dial is in excellent condition, showing only light wear, with the original hands perfectly matching the dial's natural patina. The watch retains its original 18k yellow gold integrated bracelet, which is particularly impressive for a gold reference 3800, showing extremely little stretch. The bracelet can accommodate a wrist of up to approximately 18 cm. The watch is fitted with the desirable MK1 clasp and features the early MK1 configuration with dark date disc. The movement has been carefully inspected by our watchmaker, and we provide a one-year warranty on the watch. Combining its early MK1 configuration, beautifully preserved blue Sigma tritium dial, exceptionally tight original yellow gold bracelet, complete original box and papers, and documented Vienna provenance, this Nautilus 3800 represents a particularly attractive example of one of Patek Philippe's most important early sports watches.
