Rolex
Milgauss 1019 Silver Dial Circa 1970

REF: 1019

CHF 25'000 .-

This Rolex Milgauss 1019 dates to circa 1970 (serial 2.62XXXX) and features the desirable original silver “squared lumes” dial, which is beginning to turn a beautiful tropical yellow tone. The dial and matching hands are both in excellent condition. Under UV light, all lume plots glow brightly and fade at the same rate—consistent with original tritium from this era.

The stainless steel case remains in excellent condition, having been polished in the past, and shows only light wear from use. The smooth bezel is original and sharp, with light surface marks. The watch is fitted with an excellent 7836 folded-link Oyster bracelet with 280 endlinks and a clasp stamped 3.70. The serial and reference numbers between the lugs are crisp and clearly defined. The caseback is correctly stamped 1019 and II.70.

No service history, but the movement has been tested and is running perfectly.

A rare and increasingly collectible example of the iconic antimagnetic Milgauss, offered in outstanding overall condition.
