Rolex GMT-Master Ref. 16750, serial 6.27X.XXX, dating to 1979, featuring a matte black dial with tritium luminous that has aged to a warm yellow patina. The original hands have aged slightly lighter than the hour markers, offering a pleasing contrast, while the red-and-blue “Pepsi” bezel insert is lightly faded and remains in excellent overall condition. The case has been polished in the past and retains excellent proportions, showing only light wear consistent with age. The serial and reference numbers between the lugs remain crisp and clearly legible, and the caseback is correctly stamped 16750. Powered by the caliber 3075 automatic movement, with quickset date function, recently inspected by our watchmaker and in proper working order though with no documented service history. The watch is offered on a 78360 Oyster bracelet with 580 endlinks, showing very little stretch, clasp code DT7. An excellent example of an early GMT-Master 16750 with beautifully patinated tritium dial and a strong overall presence.
