Excellent stainless steel case that has recently been polished and shows extremely light wear. This reference is known for its thicker case profile—earning it the nickname "Fat Lady"—to accommodate the new calibre 3085, Rolex's first independently adjustable 24-hour hand. The original black tritium dial is in superb condition, with matching tritium hands. The red and black "Coke" bezel insert is also in excellent condition, showing only light signs of use. Fitted with a newer Rolex 62510H Jubilee bracelet with 502 endlinks, clasp code SH4. Sold in 1988 (R serial), this watch comes from the second owner and includes its complete original set: inner and outer boxes, punched warranty papers, pamphlet, and Bucherer service documents from 1997 and 2001. A rare opportunity to acquire a complete and exceptionally well-preserved example of the first GMT-Master II—an important transitional reference in Rolex history.
