A beautiful example of the classic GMT-Master II “Coke” K Serial featuring the black dial and red/black bezel insert. The stainless steel case has been polished in the past but remains thick with strong proportions. It shows light wear with a few minor scratches and dings, nothing out of the ordinary for a watch of this age. The glossy black luminova dial is in perfect condition with matching hands. The steel bezel is excellent, and the original serif “Coke” insert shows a pleasing light fade, giving it a very attractive vintage look. The original Oyster bracelet 78790A with solid end-links (claspcode DT7) shows minimal stretch and remains tight and crisp. The movement has just been fully serviced and authenticated by our watchmaker. The watch is offered without its original box and papers. A strong example of the now discontinued GMT-Master II 16710 “Coke,” combining a clean case, excellent dial, and a beautiful lightly faded insert — a highly collectible modern classic.
