This Rolex Daytona Ref. 16520, dating from 1999, is an attractive example of the celebrated automatic Daytona powered by the Rolex calibre 4030, based on the Zenith El Primero movement. The watch has had only two owners since new and was originally sold by Chrono-Time in Geneva in August 1999, with the original purchase invoice accompanying the watch. The case has been polished in the past and shows light signs of wear from use. The original black Luminova dial is in excellent condition, with matching hands, while the chronograph sub-dials have developed an attractive, subtle beige patina. The original bezel is also very well preserved. The watch retains its Oyster bracelet, Ref. 78390A, with solid end links and clasp code X5, showing only very light stretch. There is no documented service history, although the watch is currently running well. It is accompanied by its original box and outer box, booklets and original 1999 Chrono-Time invoice. A particularly appealing example with clear Geneva provenance and an unusually well-documented ownership history.
