A superb example of the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona reference 16520, dating from circa 1997 (U Serial) and featuring the highly desirable black tritium dial. The watch has been fully serviced and polished by Rolex in 2026 and is presented in excellent overall condition. The case has just returned from being professionally polished by Rolex and retains beautiful proportions, while the excellent original bezel has also been freshly polished. The original black tritium dial is flawless, with beautifully preserved luminous plots and matching tritium hands. The watch is fitted with its original reference 78390 Oyster bracelet, showing only very light stretch from use, with 503B end links and a Z9 clasp code. Powered by the legendary Rolex calibre 4030 based on the Zenith El Primero movement, this U-serial example represents one of the most iconic generations of the automatic Daytona. The watch is accompanied by its official Rolex service invoice and service card, both dated 2026. A particularly attractive and freshly serviced example of the celebrated Zenith-era Daytona, combining an excellent original tritium dial with documented recent Rolex maintenance.
