This Rolex Daytona 6265 dates to approximately 1973 (Serial 3.7XXXXX) and features the highly desirable black sigma dial with silver printing. The original dial is exceptionally clean, with all lume plots intact and perfectly matching tritium hands. Under UV light, the lume glows brightly and fades rapidly and evenly—consistent with untouched tritium from this period. The stainless steel case is very sharp, showing only light signs of use and having been polished in the past. The original steel bezel is in excellent condition with minimal wear. The watch is fitted with its correct MK1 pushers. It comes on an excellent USA riveted Oyster bracelet with light stretch from use; the clasp is stamped 78. The movement has no known service history but has just been checked and is in perfect working order. A superb example of the iconic manually-wound Daytona with rare and clean original details, ideal for collectors.
