A remarkably rare and highly collectible Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 16520 featuring a double-signed Tiffany & Co. dial, one of the most coveted configurations in the Zenith-era Daytona world. L686XXX serial in all original configuration. The stainless-steel case has been lightly polished in the past but remains thick, sharp, and well-preserved, showing only minimal wear. The original engraved steel bezel is excellent, with clean numerals and crisp black enamel. The original tritium black “inverted 6” dial is in very good overall condition, showing only a few micro marks visible under magnification. The highly desirable Tiffany & Co. double signature is clean and well aligned — an extremely rare feature found on only a handful of early Zenith Daytonas. The subdials show a subtle shift toward dark brown, reminiscent of the early stages of the Patrizzi effect. The tritium hands match the dial perfectly. The watch retains its original 78360 Oyster bracelet with 503 endlinks, showing light stretch appropriate for its age; claspcode N9. The serial and reference numbers between the lugs are crisp and deeply engraved, confirming a strong and honest case. The movement is in perfect working condition with no known service history. The watch comes with its original box and the extremely rare Tiffany & Co. Guarantee, but not the Rolex warranty. A superb, honest, and exceptionally rare early Zenith Daytona — the combination of a double-signed Tiffany dial, L-serial production, and overall excellent condition makes this an extraordinary collector’s piece.
