Rolex Day-Date reference 1803 in 18K yellow gold, produced in 1970 and featuring the highly sought-after “Wide Boy” champagne dial with stepped minute track. The 36mm yellow gold case is in excellent condition, showing only light signs of wear, as is the fluted bezel which remains sharp and well-defined. The stepped champagne dial is beautifully preserved, with bold Wide Boy indexes and matching wide hands. The tritium lume has aged to a warm, creamy hue, and the hands perfectly match the dial. The watch is fitted with a tan suede Molequin strap in excellent condition with gold platted Rolex ardillon buckle. No accessories are included. A well-balanced and elegant vintage Day-Date, appreciated for its distinctive dial configuration and understated presence on the wrist.
