A magnificent example of the Breguet Classique Tourbillon Squelette 3355PT, showcasing one of the brand’s most emblematic and beautifully executed movements — a calibre originally developed under the direction of Daniel Rothduring his tenure at Breguet. The result is a breathtaking, fully openworked tourbillon architecture with exceptional hand-finishing throughout. The 35mm platinum case has been very lightly polished in the past and presents extremely well, with no major visible marks and excellent overall proportions. The watch comes with its original box and instruction manual. Although the original warranty booklet is missing, Breguet Archives have confirmed that the watch was sold in Tokyo in 2006, providing full authenticity. Fitted with a brand-new Breguet black alligator strap and the original platinum deployant clasp, the watch wears with the elegance and substantial presence expected from a platinum Breguet tourbillon. As with many skeletonized tourbillon watches, legibility is secondary — the true pleasure here lies in admiring the extraordinary three-dimensional movement, its architectural bridges, and the hypnotic rotation of the tourbillon carriage. A superb and historically important Breguet tourbillon, combining platinum construction, openworked movement, and Daniel Roth’s technical DNA — a rare and visually spectacular piece for the discerning collector.
