A refined and rare Audemars Piguet Classic wristwatch in stainless steel, reference 5281, dating to circa 1963. The 36mm unpolished steel case is in excellent condition, showing only very light wear consistent with age. The original silver dial is flawlessly preserved, with perfectly matching hands. The watch is fitted with its original black sueded Audemars Piguet strap and matching AP ardillon buckle, maintaining its vintage charm. Powered by the automatic AP calibre 2072, which has just been fully serviced by our watchmaker and runs perfectly. A beautifully preserved example of early AP steel elegance — rare, understated, and highly collectible.
