Measuring 36.5mm in diameter, the 530 was Patek Philippe’s largest chronograph of the era, and remains one of the most iconic vintage chronographs ever produced. This particular watch features a beautiful two-tone dial with a silver tachymeter scale, applied Arabic numerals at 12 and 6 o’clock, and elegant feuille (leaf) hands for the hours and minutes. The chronograph hands — both the central seconds and the 30-minute counter — are crafted in blued steel, offering a striking contrast and perfect legibility. Powering the watch is the esteemed Patek Philippe caliber 13’’’ — a hand-wound chronograph movement equipped with a column wheel and horizontal clutch. Known for its reliability and beautiful hand-finishing, this movement is considered one of the finest mid-20th century chronograph calibers ever made.
