A truly exceptional example of the Rolex Cellini King Midas 4017 in white gold, featuring a flawless blue dial and preserved in mint, completely unpolished condition. Produced in 1972 (serial 347XXXX) and sold in Osaka in 1976, the watch shows extremely light signs of use and remains one of the finest King Midas pieces we have encountered. The original deep blue dial is perfect, with matching hands, and the manually wound movement has been fully checked and is running flawlessly. The watch comes with an extraordinary full set, including the original box and outer box, both hang tags, booklets, the original Japanese warranty papers, and the leather warranty holder. It is currently fitted with a tailor-made electric blue alligator strap paired with the correct Rolex steel ardillon buckle, and is accompanied by its original 1972 Rolex black alligator strap, preserved separately. With its untouched case, immaculate dial, and remarkably complete presentation set, this King Midas 4017 is quite possibly one of the best-preserved and most complete examples available on the market today — a true collector’s trophy.
