This Audemars Piguet Disco Volante ref. C56214 dates to circa 1987 and belongs to the desirable C Series. Crafted in 18 ct yellow gold, this elegant dress watch perfectly embodies the refined and minimalist aesthetic for which Audemars Piguet is renowned. Its distinctive rounded "Disco Volante" case gives the watch a timeless and sophisticated presence on the wrist. The watch appears to have never been polished, preserving its original case proportions and factory finish. The original dial remains in good overall condition, displaying a few light marks consistent with its age, while retaining its authentic vintage charm. It is fitted with its original leather strap and original Audemars Piguet gold buckle. Please note that one of the bracelet retaining screws on the back of the case is missing. Despite this, the watch remains an attractive collector's piece. Powered by its original Audemars Piguet manufacture manual-winding movement, the watch has no known service history but is running perfectly and keeping excellent time. A rare and elegant Audemars Piguet Disco Volante, preserved in honest original condition and representing a wonderful example of the manufacture's late-1980s dress watch production.
