A superb example of the mid-size Aquanaut, measuring 38 mm, preserved in excellent overall condition. The stainless steel case shows only light wear from use and appears to have been lightly polished in the past, retaining strong proportions. The original black embossed dial is flawless with perfectly matching hands. Fitted with the “tropical” black composite strap in excellent condition, able to fit a wrist up to 18 cm, and secured by the original steel folding clasp. Recently serviced by an independent watchmaker, the watch is running perfectly. Complete with its original box, certificate of origin, and accessories. A very attractive example of the discontinued 5165A — the 38 mm Aquanaut that offers superb wearability and balance, and is increasingly sought after by collectors today.
