The present Patek Philippe Aquanaut reference 5065A, measuring 38 mm and offered with its box and papers, is an exceptionally attractive example from the model’s later production, preserved in remarkable condition and coming from its original owner. Originally sold at the Geneva Salon in 2006, this piece represents a particularly desirable configuration of the early Aquanaut line. The stainless-steel case appears to be unpolished and shows only light signs of wear consistent with careful use over time, retaining strong proportions and a crisp overall appearance. The watch is fitted with the characteristic black “grenade” dial with luminova hour markers, displaying the green-toned luminova typical of late production examples, and paired with perfectly matching hands. Powering the watch is the automatic Patek Philippe calibre 315, which is in excellent mechanical condition, running at the time of cataloguing with an amplitude of approximately 270 degrees and a daily rate of +3 seconds. The original black rubber strap is preserved in very nice condition and is fitted with its original Patek Philippe deployant clasp, completing the ensemble with correct period coherence. The watch is accompanied by its original box, original warranty papers, and original sales invoice, and is offered as a complete set with the exception of the outer packaging only, as shown in the accompanying photographs. With its confirmed first-owner provenance, Geneva Salon origin, unpolished case, and strong mechanical performance, this Aquanaut 5065A represents a compelling opportunity to acquire a well-preserved and highly collectible early Aquanaut.
