The present Patek Philippe Annual Calendar reference 5146/1G-010, dating to 2006, is an elegant and technically refined example of the manufacture’s modern calendar watches, offered with its original papers. Originally sold new in Arizona in 2006, this watch represents a desirable early execution of the reference in white gold. The 39 mm white-gold case has been polished in the past and shows light wear consistent with careful use, while retaining balanced proportions and an elegant overall presence. The watch was originally delivered on a white-gold bracelet; it is now fitted with a black Patek Philippe crocodile leather strap, paired with a period-correct white-gold deployant clasp, offering a more understated and versatile aesthetic while remaining coherent with the reference. The dial displays the signature layout of the 5146, combining day and month apertures, a moon-phase with date, and a power-reserve indicator, all arranged in a harmonious and highly legible composition. Powering the watch is the automatic Patek Philippe calibre 315 S IRM QA LU, a refined movement specifically developed for this reference. It features an annual calendar complication requiring correction only once per year at the end of February, as well as a power-reserve indication, combining everyday practicality with traditional Patek Philippe finishing standards. While no service history accompanies the watch, it is running well at the time of cataloguing.
